We are built to be frugivorous

From the natural point of view, health depends on how much we put ourselves in relation and harmony with the factors set out by Nature.

One of the major factors for building and maintaining health is, of course, food. A careful study of our structural physiology can tell us what would be our ancestral diet related to an “harmonic health”. Consequently we shall try to avoid
the food, as much as we can, that is too much different from the one we should dispose. The more we move away from the natural order, the more we do not stick to the system we are built for, and the more we are exposed to diseases.

The human being is classified belonging to the family of Primates, which includes also the Anthropoids, i.e. the monkeys . Our physiological characteristics are very similar to the monkeys' ones. In the 98% of the cases, monkeys feed themselves with fresh fruits, vegetables and small sprouts, berries and nuts, and only rarely with tiny animals (easy to catch by hands and without hard skin) or some other small insects living on the plants.

The physiology of the human being has the following characteristics, that show us how much the vegetarian diet is right and the carnivorous wrong:

  1. the pores on the skin are present in large quantities all over the body, while all carnivores have very few (sweat by the tongue)
  2. the gastric juices may produce only 1/5 of hydrochloric acid in comparison to a carnivore
  3. the bowel is 12 times the length of the body while the carnivorous one is only 3, given that the meat tends to putrefy in a long bowel transit
  4. the bowel works by peristaltic movements, which are stimulated by plant fibers; meat does not have fibers for doing the same and therefore carnivores have a short bowel
  5. in a long bowel, such as in the humans, meat or fish , with their fat and other components such as collagen, tend to stick on the walls, creating putrefying matters and inflammations
  6. saliva and urine are alkaline in humans, while carnivores have them acidic
  7. saliva contains ptyalin that permits to digest easily the starches, something not present in carnivores
  8. the molar teeth are useful to chew nuts or sprouts, not suitable for pulping the flesh
  9. the canine teeth are sharp enough just only to open the fruits, but not so sharp and hooked to pluck up the meat
  10. incisors are well developed to affect especially the fruit, while in carnivores are poorly developed
  11. our nails are not retractable and are not even hooked, since they serve to break and open fruits and cut some small vegetables
  12. the color vision of frugivorous animals can recognize ripe fruits that stands out among the green leaves, while the carnivores and omnivores and herbivores do not have this possibility
  13. our stomach is with duodenum, while in carnivores is simple
  14. the placenta is discoid and not zoniforme as carnivores
  15. our sense of smell is not so powerful to be able to search animals to eat, but by smell we can understand if a fruit is good or not
  16. we use the two legs to move and not four paws like animals, as they need to run for hunting, to capture and kill another animal
  17. we have got the arms to climb trees and pick the food, using all fingers that are prehensile.
If we consider what Nature gave to us, it should be clear which is the best approach we should have in food. Follow us to the next post: "But then we should be eating almost exclusively fruit?"

May Sciences of Living transform our life?

Konrad Lorenz expressed the following concept:

"The man nowadays can be considered the missing link between a monkey and a true human being."

In fact, he lost almost all his instinctive spontaneity that made him, one time, to be in good balance with everything; like the monkey, originally the man used to eat only the right food, taking care of himself with the means given by nature, having relationships in a natural way, avoiding any problems for unimportant things, and so on.
But now, he has not acquired adequate knowledge to eat well, he takes drugs all the time intoxicating himself more and more, suffer from bad relationships and feel himself like having too many problems.

The development of the conscious state and the resulting knowledge can enable a man to get out of this condition, leading him to achieve harmony and balance at all levels, achieving a level that corresponds at the real human being.

The evolutionary age is when we make ourselves available to re-examine everything we believe being an absolute truth already acquired, and when we are open to review ourselves and how we live.

Collection of knowledge to live better

    • Understand what health really is and how the disease works
    • understand happiness and which hurdles obstruct it
    • understand what the genius is and how to succeed in life
    • understand which one are not constructive habits
    • understand how to interact with ourselves and with others in order, erasing a hostile world idea
    • understand how to evolve in sexuality and do not feeling unsatisfied or unfulfilled
    • understand what love is and what is being loved
    • understand what is feeling good about ourselves
    • understand some more important topics for feeling good
Could be incredible, but to learn these topics is more easy than learning Chinese language!
These are just some of the fundamental issues that should already be popular in schools: in the first place children should have the opportunity to grow well and later fill the head with formulas and dates... .
These are topics that should be learned and put into daily lives as a matter of natural fact, to become a system in which the complications of life would be simplified or canceled.
These are the Sciences of Living.

In the next Post some hints on:  May Sciences of Living transform our life?

    The complexity of life

Human life is highly complex in various aspects.

For example, health depends on a complexity of things because the body is made by a huge number of complex components, relationships are complex, emotions depend on complex mechanisms, events are complex, choices are complex etc..

Among these large number of complex situations, the human being feels often lost and encodes what happens to him as “complicated”; he will say that life itself is complicated and he will find himself involved and overwhelmed by complications.
Knowing the complex mechanisms that govern us allows us to solve the problems arising from the complexity (on the other hand it is known that ignoring the mechanisms may not lead to possible solutions).

To improve our quality of life is an Art

Many times life looks like a really difficult mathematic problem: how to have solutions?

    Taking up our own life as it is, could be a good way to live more peacefully;

    • acting according to what people tell us allows to have less stress;
    • thinking the same as everybody does creates less strain;
    • blaming other people about all the negativity that happens to us is comforting.....

But all these ways, and others, do not allow to solve situations, to improve the life's quality, to carry beyond the stress for reaching equilibrium states in situations that, otherwise, would be felt only upset ....

Learn and understand the mechanisms that make us feeling good, is an "art"; everyone must be aware of being the artist of its own life and therefore do his best to make out a masterpiece of it. We become artists when we acquire the tools to carve the details of a work optimally: then we must learn how to use them to manage the events and choices of our life to get the best results.

Could be useful for all to search the solution of the mathematic problem as life looks to be like.
I suggest to open the mind habits and begin to study what usually it is not studied at school: The Sciences of Living.

    An intricate simplicity

"The artwork is the one that can give you an idea and a perspective that expresses the complexity at all levels"

The perfect understanding of The Sciences of Living enables you to sharpen your ability to live properly: that means not only to be healthy, but also to be able to interact well with people, to understand what is happiness, to know how to evolve interiorly, ....

Everybody, without exception, can evolve from the difficulty of developing a work artistically valid to the ability of concretely making it of great quality.

When we were children, apparently it had been difficult to walk, to draw, to write, or to simply learn ... Nowadays, as adults, many surrender to what is already known, thinking that deeply learn what concerns ourselves it's not so important.

So we kindly invite you to give you “time” as a gift, in order to be able to find out, from what we will propose to you, that is possible to change the idea that what is done is untransformable and irremediable.
Think back to what you read and open your mind to let you considering the points that might change your perspective.

    Why this Blog?

This blog doesn't want to validate anything or proselytize anybody; doesn't want to persuade you to do any changes on following dogmas or rules.
Just introducing some ideas to let you think and process afterwards.

If you'll find some good solutions, as we believe, it will be your turn in spreading the voice, to let other people focus on various questions and possible answers.

We do not aim to revolutionize the world here... but if each one of us understand how much important is to step towards a positive direction, it will allow other people to do the same.

Everyone can offer a seed for the good will of others, to flourish and spread it.

The society is made up by small and gradual changes, that are important right now as well as for those who will come later on. We underline once again that we don't wish on having the power of changing people: we are simply committed to the whole complex system in which we live.
Let this blog be known and share with friends. From the next post on we'll start with some nice and simple points..., follow us and let others do the same.

Later on, if you wish, you might choose to become even a Consultant: on the one hand, you will be a better person, promoting a higher standard of living for yourself and for all; on the other hand, you'll get involved at professional level.
    Sounds good, isn't it?
